I love baking. But more importantly, I love simple baking.
Based right here in Surfleet Seas End, I started Dovetail Bakery to bring real, honest bread back to our local tables. I have over 15 years of professional baking experience, and if there is one thing I've learned, it's that great food doesn't need fluff, hidden chemicals, or artificial preservatives.
My ingredients are ridiculously simple: usually just flour, water, salt, yeast, and patience. Yes, the trade-off is a much shorter sell-by date than a supermarket loaf. But in return, you get hearty, incredible-tasting bakes exactly as they were meant to be made.
